Today, newspapers and news-oriented television and radio programs make available stories from across to globe. Media can be used to monitor government, business, and other institution. Another useful aspect of mediais its ability to act as a public forum for the discussion of important issues. In newspapers or or athoer periodicals, letters to the editor allow readers to respond to journalists or to voice their opinions on the issues of the day.
